Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Lyrics by Tim Rice.

Thirty-two years after the release of the original album, this post-Woodstock, post-Tommy pop culture phenomenon still rocks with exhilarating and high-energy music. JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR depicts the last seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, as told from the perspective of Judas Iscariot. Though friends, the two men walk different paths to destiny, and find that they must ultimately oppose each other.

Featuring such powerful numbers as “What’s the Buzz,” “Heaven on Their Minds,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” and, of course, “Superstar,” this musical is a non-stop spectacle of pop/rock singing and dancing.
