Who are Playhouse Volunteers?
At LCP, volunteers are an integral part of the community theatre experience. The Playhouse fosters an open and welcoming atmosphere, with an emphasis on a positive, fun, and engaging experience. Volunteers support education, performance, operations, special events and fundraising.
What are Playhouse Volunteer Expectations?
We expect our volunteers to be positive, respectful of others and the Playhouse, as well as make a reasonable commitment to whatever volunteer role they choose to play. Volunteers typically have to be at least 12 years old.
How do I become a Volunteer?
To become a volunteer, please contact Christine Cottam, Director of Operations, at ccottam@lincolnplayhouse.com. Interested volunteers will then be invited for a brief meeting to discuss what kind of experience the volunteer is looking for, opportunities available, and Playhouse expectations. For more information on volunteer positions, see below.
Community Service Hours
The Playhouse only offers community service hour opportunities to high school and college students looking to fulfill service hour requirements. Interested students may contact Christine Cottam, Director of Operations.
***While we actively work with volunteers to find the best placement, the Playhouse reserves the right to make final decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
